Founded in 1953, the Honolulu Chinese Jaycees is a leadership development organization for young people ages 21 to 39. Here you can learn the skills needed to be a future leader and be able to practice them while doing projects that impact the community, such as the Healthy Baby Contest, Miss Chinatown Hawaii Scholarship Pageant, and the Dragon Boat Festival to name a few. Among the chapter's more notable achievements are:
．The only Hawaii Chapter to win the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce's Most Outstanding Chapter in the Nation Award (1992-1993)
．The only Hawaii Chapter to have its President advance to become State, National, and International President.
．We were the Host Chapter of the 1997 Junior Chamber International's World Congress, bringing 7,000 Jaycees from around the world to Hawaii.
